— Về Vietmuch / About —
It's more than a t-shirt.
It's a relatable one.
Vietmuch makes the kinds of shirts where another Vietnamese speaker does a double-take in line at Costco — and then breaks into a smile, because they get it.
Every design starts from a line someone in our family has actually said out loud. About 2am phở runs. About the bánh mì you miss when you're a thousand miles away. About the morning you tried to cross a Saigon street and lived to text the group chat about it.
These shirts aren't for tourists looking for a souvenir. They're for the Việt Kiều who grew up half-in, half-out — the returnees who realized the country shifted underneath them while they were gone — the soon-to-be travelers stocking up before their first trip — and yes, the partners and in-laws who've learned enough to be in on the joke.
We keep the catalog small. We obsess over the typography because the lines deserve it. And we test every design by asking one question: would another Vietnamese speaker see this and stop you on the sidewalk?
If the answer is no, it doesn't make the shop.
